cool music sample and i like that kind of rollin rhytmics but maybe using compressors or something like this to get a beat more punchy would be a great idea.
haha I also tried to sample this track but I haven't accomplished creating a good beat. U did a better job bet lift up ur beat work man! Use compressors on ur master and on ur kickdrum and snare use a eqalizing preset and turn those buttons mate! :p In FL you also got a good trick that's called "soundgoodizer" ( it's a kind of limiter) AIght keep on the good tunes
i really like the sample but i don't think you used it well.. it's a very less personal beat, you didn't chop much and the drums aren't fitting right, there too repetitive and not punchy enough like corbendallas said.. but atleast you still got a very nice sample:)
